VBE is the graphic tool helping user of Flash Extractor to check and correct sizes of banks.

Start this tool please use Check Dirs and then Check files options.
Every block has it's own color inside bank according to the following rules:
Grey - unable to check proper position of block
Green - proper position of block
Red - wrong position of block
White - block with chosen element of file system (MBR, Boot, Catalog or file)

Please have a look on attached picture.
You can see that blocks in banks 0-7 have proper position. And other blocks starting with 8 bank have some shift (wrong position). To fix the problem with incorrect size of banks on shown example user has to change the size of 7 bank.

Other properties of this tool:
info - show statistic about positions of blocks inside banks
auto - show calculated correction of size of banks (user has to make this changes manually in properties of Filter)

All blocks of banks have there own color after Check files and Check dirs operations were used.
If all blocks of bank are marked red then user has to correct the size of previous bank.
If the most part of blocks inside bank is marked green then the size of previous banks is correct. Some blocks having conflict can be also marked red in this bank.(if red between green, for example)

Automatic correction of sizes of banks (Auto)

1. Start Check Dirs
2. Select option Auto
3. Copy shown sizes of banks in Filter properties.
4. Check position of blocks using Check Dirs and Check files one more time.

After Check Dirs tool was used the log appears in window.
