Ok

Anything can be done?

Or you must have one to test?

If my customer agree, maybe I can send you the chip to investigate?

Best choice is:
- one broken flash
- one fully functional

I know it is expensive.
And can take much time.
Think twice.

May be memory chip swap can give result.

Send me first full dump.
May be i find something.

I was thinking also, maybe the the nasty U3 software pre-installed on these is also confusing things?

I try to by working model today.

It is some pre-installed management software.

I have today bought a working identical stick.

Put on 2Gb of data, and removed flash RAM

Read with Page 2112, two errors on verify.

Done swap.

Just waiting to image to create.

See what happens Very Happy

Maybe getting somewhere.

Read chip with page 2112, but 8Gb.

Split x8

Can see data in all splits.

Marker i think is in bytes 0, 3, 4, 5.

"00" "00" "01" "60"
"08" "00" "01" "60"
"10" "00" "01" "60"

These occur every 2112 bytes.

Still working on it.
