Hi,
- Flash type: SD (GXT 133X 2GB )
- Controller name : unknow and can not see
- Flash chips amount : 2
- Flash chip name : HY27UU088G5M
- Config file content (Show config) : HY27UV08AG5_b2.cfg, disable ID
-------------------------------------
MNG Samsung
ID 0xad 0xdc 0x84 0x25
Bits 8
Page 2112
block 0x0
MB 1024
COL 2
RAW 3
READ 0x30
SBACK 0x00
RE_Down 4
RE_Up 0
SE_ 0
----------------------------------

- Dumps amount : 2 dumps, each 1GB
- Do you found FAT? Yes, after invert and join by byte
- Is there mix? No
- Do you remove mix? N/A

ftp 300K from FAT16 to your site, name hd07-300k.

There is no marker in the file. Which util should I use?
Or were there anything I made wrong from
[1] invert each dump, total 2
[2] join the 2 dumps by byte.

Thanks.

Thanks, the 3rd one is closer, but the dirs and files are corruptted.
sector 4224 and block 0x42000,
512/10.../0/48
(total 8 512/10)
4176/4177
mask 0xFFFF
shift 0
invert X checked, or unchecked.

the size of image is 38GB ( more than 10 banks found ), coming out nice FAT16.

Thanks.
PS: I am trying different parameters and see what will come out.

Try increase Block_Size

For example, 0x84000

If not work
Set Block_Size = 0x21000
Start Flash_Extractor scanning.
Wait 10 seconds.
Stop it.
Put log in txt file.
RAR it.
Attach to topic or put on ftp

Hi,
It has much better results with 0x84000. All the folder and file names come out, but most of files are corrupted.

Scan log has been uploaded to ftp site, hd07-sk6602-4224-21000-scan-log.txt.

Thanks.

Yes, Block_Size = 0x84000.
Other parameters in main properties is true.

Do you see in log:
0 - 0x10800000 much space is filled with zeros.
Inverted zeros = FFFFFF....
FFFF mean erased blocks.

How much differences when verify?
0, 10, 100, 1000?

Try remove solder from downside of chip pads!
If there is solder and you move (caress) your finger along pads, you fill sharp pads.
If no solder you fill smooth pads.

May be need adjust filter settings.
Bank_Space detected? (May be 0x200)
Put on ftp full log from 0x84000 (scan + save) With Bank_Space = 0 and 0x200
Put on ftp FAT16->Check_Dirs
MBR, FAT16 is green?

Yes. MBR, FAT16, root, dirs (DCIM and 100CANON) are green.
Some file name are green and ok, but some green files are corruptted.
Most file names are red and corrupted.
By the way, the image size is 15GB.

Open SK6602
Open predefined folder
When util finish scaning you can see "Filter"
Open properties of Filter
Look for Bank_Space

Re-read the memory chips with no errors, no diff.

It gets much better now, 310 files ok, 113 files broken.

It seems that no difference if I chose the "full" or not; use the mask, 0xffff, or 0x3fff, or 0x3ff. By the way, how do I choose all the different mask?

Thank you.
