Which cfg should I use for this memory?
Does anyone know if this controller crypts data on memory?

From experience all SanDisk Cruzers older than mid 2006 are crypted.
To recover data
1. Fix the faulty component or trace.
or
2. Swap the Controller and Memory chip with an identical drive.

We tryed the second option on another key, and It didnt work... When we put the new key back together it worked, so its not the soldering...
What part of USB key usualy dies?
Question for you jeremyb, new SanDisk usb keys aren't crypted? Only older than mid 2006?

You Swapped the CONTROLLER and MEMORY CHIP and it didn't work? Thats odd, i'd triple check the soldering on that, is it the same controller/PCB design? Unless the controller is damaged in which case its unrecoverable (the key is stored in the controller)
>= Mid 2006 = Crypted
All Cruzer Micro Drives after Mid 2006 have AES-128 or greater.
