May be need wait 5 mins?

Yes I'm sure it hangs. Even with several hours wait. Only way is to reboot the computer.

Сергей, I forgot to mention that the driver I am using is the 64-bit version. I have not tested the 32-bit version.

I fix error in driver
Jeremt test it and tell that ECC Reread do not hangs

But driver is not signed
You can use it but need start Windows in special mode. After each reboot need press F8 and select option "disable driver sign check"

I think i can make normal signed driver only after ~1-2 monthes

1. Set Windows in test mode
2. F8 during boot -> Disable driver signing check

Please, tell about results

Stilll not work. But no longer need to reboot the PC after disconnecting the reader.

-----------
ECC Reread
-----------
01_01
Fix Main On
Max Diff 10%
Attempt 1

ID ad 3a 18 03

After 30 minutes, I disconnect the reader and get this:

Canceled.
Media Error: Read failure, pos 0x00000000, size 0x481000

This is good
Now we can debug FE

Please, copy dump to separate folder (that we do not damaged good dump)

Set in FE / Chip.txt
Power = Empty

Open FE again

Try FE Reread

Power adapter disconnected?

- No power adapter
- Power = Empty (in Chip.txt)

I get this error immediate without power off reader:
-----------
ECC Reread
-----------
01_01
Fix Main On
Max Diff 10%
Attempt 1

ID ad 3a 18 03
Canceled.
Media Error: Read failure, pos 0x00000000, size 0x481000

And if i try 2:nd time, without disconnecting reader:
-----------
ECC Reread
-----------
01_01
Fix Main On
Max Diff 10%
Attempt 1

Canceled.
Media Error: Write failure - A device attached to the system is not functioning.

It hangs on 2:nd try, but the above when disconnecting the reader.

Still got this:
-----------
ECC Reread
-----------
01_01
Fix Main On
Max Diff 10%
Attempt 1

ID ad 3a 18 03
Pos 0x0
Read 0x481000
Canceled.
Media Error: Read failure, pos 0x00000000, size 0x481000

Need to power off/on reader in order to get ID again.

"Test retry" and "constant read" works fine. What is the difference when reading chip for ReRead?

I will try another chip to see if there is any difference.

Signed driver for Win10
http://www.flash-extractor.com/downloads/Driver/Driver_Win10_v6.rar

For Win7 will be later

It solve random blue screen problems during connect / disconnect

It do not solve ECC_Reread hangs
But when you disconnect reader, not need to reboot computer
Disconnect / Connect will restore reader functions
