I have a USB Drive that has a memory chip that is not accessible, it's encased in a kind of cement.

I'm trying to access the memory chip from the controller pins but I cannot find the specs. on it and it's dead.

I would appreciate any help on this, like pinouts or a datasheet.

The controller marking is IDE5019BSC

I might be able to help, I have the same job in the shop for recovery without the epoxy I can tone it out for you if you'd like.

Just be careful not to damage the PCB or break the epoxy as it will almost certainly damage the wire bonds underneath.

The connections worked, I'm able to read the chip ID but I haven't been able to find a layout/XOR that works, which layout did you use ?

probably software bad bytes.

try searching layout with AU controllers with ECC = on

if you look with bitmap, what is geometry
