I have a problem removing the mix from an SM32Q(?) controller.

- Flash type (USB, CF, SD...) USB
- Controller name SM32Q(? - hard to read)
- Flash chips amount (2)
- Flash chip name (K9NBG08
- Config file content (Show config)
MNG Samsung
ID 0xec 0xd3 0x51 0x95
Bits 8
Page 2112
Block 0x21000
MB 1024
COL 2
RAW 3
READ 0x30
SBACK 0x00
RE_Down 2
RE_Up 1
End
- Dumps amount 2
- Do you found FAT? yes. Once inverted.
- Is there mix? Yes
- Do you remove mix? that is where I have a problem.

I inverted the 2 dumps and joined them by block (528)
I then had a file with recognisable FATs, but with a mix.

the mix was OD, OE, OF,10,1D, 1E, 1F, 20.

How do I get rid of this mix?

Try:
1. split by block 0x42000
2. join by block 4224

that did not quite work I will try something else.

I just noticed that even though the drive is an 8Gb drive, I only have 1Gb per dump when each should be 4Gb. How do I fix this?

the chips seem to have 2 chips per set. (one on top of the other)

you must have 4 banks per chip. For 2 chips - 2*4=8 banks per 1Gb

This mix consist of 4 parts.
May be like this:
Block_Number / English / Mixes / Combination

Do you have one double chip or two double chips?

Notation _b4 mean 4 banks!

Get all 8 dumps.
And look at same address in other dumps.
I think you can find missing sectors from FAT table.
Look at this address + 0x42000 at all dumps.

Try use Dump_Converter to remove mix.

I had one of these and found this method to work..

First run the Sector Mutate
I couldn't get the data to line up correctly without doing this - however, it may have been a problem with the physical memory stick I had.

Split @ 42000h
Join @ 2112d

Block Size: 0x21000
Bank Space: 0x400

Build Updates: true
Build Banks: true

Full Blocks: false
Sector Mix: false
Fix Bank:
